Doors for use with doorsets
Any of our standard, metric and FD30 fire doors can be used with Simpli Doorsets. Doors for use with our doorsets must be pre-finished, white primed, primed or finished in Colours by XL.

Lining codes
In order for us to build your doorset, you will need to let us know which lining code you require. You can do this by seeing what type and size of latch you require, measuring the depth of aperture required and then by confirming whether it is a standard lining, double lining or fire rated lining. Door linings are supplied in White Primed as standard.

Frequently asked questions
A doorset is a complete door kit that arrives pre-assembled in one unit, providing you with everything you need to install a door. This includes the door leaf, door handles, hinges, door stops, door linings and everything routed out in place in the door.
Our fire doorsets come with intumescent strips pre-fitted in the linings, White Primed come pre-fitted with white strips.
Standard door linings and fire door linings are 32mm thick.
The doorsets arrive braced and ready to fit.
Simpli doorsets can be handled and fit by one person, but recommended two people to lift.
The easiest way to fit a door is to specify a Simpli Doorset. Our internal doorsets come ready assembled as a full working unit with no complicated fixing systems. All you need to do is fix it in to the space requiring a door. They can be fit in under 20 minutes.
Yes, interior doorsets are just as suitable for renovations and retrofits as they are new builds and redevelopments.
This depends on what you specify. If you specify a doorset with a Pre-Finished door, or with a Colours by XL finish, then you will only need to add a top coat to the lining. If for example you specify a White Primed door with a White Primed lining, the door and lining will both need a coat of top coat at home to complete the set
You can fit and forget with our Simpli Doorsets. They come with a 10 year guarantee.
The fitting tolerance relates to the gap between the door and the lining. This is 3mm on each side and is the same for standard doors and fire doors.
They will need to be cleaned, checked & maintained regularly to comply with the 10 year guarantee.
